Welcome to Beyond the Match Foundation's Newsletter
We are excited you're here!
Dear friends,
Welcome to the very first Beyond the Match Foundation newsletter!
We are so grateful to have you here as we continue building a foundation rooted in compassion, connection, and meaningful support for adoptive families. Beyond the Match was created to walk alongside families not only in moments of joy, but also in the tender, complicated, and often unseen parts of the adoption journey.
In each newsletter, we’ll share real stories from families, grant updates, provider spotlights, current fundraisers, and helpful resources created to support families before, during, and after placement. Thank you for being part of this growing community.

Grant News: Celebrating Our First Grant Recipients
We are thrilled to share that Jason and Becky from Wisconsin are Beyond the Match Foundation’s very first disruption grant recipients!
After experiencing two failed adoption situations, Jason and Becky were significantly impacted financially. Even through disappointment and loss, they continued to stay the course. Just a few short months after their most recent failed placement, they were matched with an expectant mom due only a few weeks later. Their beautiful daughter, Jailynn Marie, was born on May 14, and Jason and Becky have recently traveled home and are settling in as a family of three!
Beyond the Match Foundation awarded Jason and Becky a $2,500 grant, which will help cover the cost of their post-placement visits. Thank you to this family for taking the time to apply for our grant and for trusting Beyond the Match to come alongside them with hope, support, and healing. We are beyond happy for you and your beautiful baby girl!

We are also currently working with John and Adam from Minnesota, who applied for our therapy grant after experiencing a failed placement just days before they were planning to travel. Only one week later, they received a call that a baby girl had been born and was waiting for them! They quickly made plans to travel and are now the proud dads of beautiful Alma Grace.
John and Adam have made the brave decision to seek therapy to process the loss of what they had planned for, while also preparing emotionally to bring home a newborn and begin parenting through adoption. Thank you, John and Adam, for trusting Beyond the Match and for speaking up to ask for support.
Our next grant cycle will open in August, so stay tuned for more information and application updates!
